Last year’s WWE 2K20 was rather the wreck. While the series Has been known for its issues.
It had been so poor, developer Visual Concepts is currently taking off the string to refine the entry. And it seems they’re currently looking to the past to accomplish this.
Patrick Gilmore talked about the Upcoming simulation-based title. He promised that an evolution from the gameplay system, possibly the biggest one in years, and said the group was even looking back to the WWE license titles of yesteryear, to more arcade based titles like Smackdown and No Mercy.
“Core gameplay is among the major investments we are making in the Second instalment–among six pillars we’re focused on disproportionately in evolution.
“We’re looking at much-loved past games like No Mercy or Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, Together with top franchise instalments, and more modern wrestling and fighting games to build an all-new philosophical base for the match.”
Whether it will amount to anything or not is anyone’s guess. Hopefully, off the year Can help at least create a more stable solution, if nothing else, for Next calendar year. In the meantime, this season we’ll get the stylized WWE 2K Battlegrounds.
